To prepare bulgogi, you’ll need the following INGREDIENTS:


  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 pound (450 g) of thinly sliced beef (ribeye or another tender cut)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Healo Foods Heritage beef bone broth
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 small onion, sliced into half-moons
  • 1 small carrot, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (for serving)
  • Sesame seeds (for serving)
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  • In a large bowl, mix together the soy sauce, Healo Foods Heritage beef bone broth, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Let the beef marinate for at least 10 minutes to absorb the rich flavors.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and carrot, and cook while stirring until softened (about 3 minutes).
  • Add the marinated beef along with the marinade to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until the beef is cooked through and slightly caramelized (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Serve the Bulgogi over cooked rice, topped with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
