DESCRIPTION:
Miso soup is a traditional Japanese dish made with bone broth and miso paste. This healthy soup is perfect as an appetizer or main dish, packed with protein and nutrients, making it a fantastic choice for a nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 cups HEALO FOODS bone broth (preferably HERITAGE flavor)
- 3 tablespoons miso paste
- 1/2 cup diced tofu (optional for extra protein)
- 1/4 cup dried wakame seaweed
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Soy sauce to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a medium saucepan, bring the HEALO FOODS bone broth to a boil over medium heat (about 5 minutes).
- Reduce the heat and add the dried wakame seaweed. Allow it to soak in the broth for 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, dissolve the miso paste with a small amount of hot broth. Return this mixture to the saucepan.
- Add the diced tofu and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to warm the tofu.
- Remove the soup from the heat, and add the chopped green onions.
