Miso Soup with Bone Broth Recipe - Protein-Packed Japanese Soup

DESCRIPTION:
Miso soup is a traditional Japanese dish made with bone broth and miso paste. This healthy soup is perfect as an appetizer or main dish, packed with protein and nutrients, making it a fantastic choice for a nourishing meal.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cups HEALO FOODS bone broth (preferably HERITAGE flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1/2 cup diced tofu (optional for extra protein)
  • 1/4 cup dried wakame seaweed
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Soy sauce to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the HEALO FOODS bone broth to a boil over medium heat (about 5 minutes).
  2. Reduce the heat and add the dried wakame seaweed. Allow it to soak in the broth for 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, dissolve the miso paste with a small amount of hot broth. Return this mixture to the saucepan.
  4. Add the diced tofu and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to warm the tofu.
  5. Remove the soup from the heat, and add the chopped green onions.
  6. Serve hot, and enjoy your protein-packed bone broth miso soup!
